The more mature coating technologies are arc ion plating, magnetron sputtering ion plating and composite ion plating. The following are selected from various types of coating technology, a representative of the typical plating process is introduced.

(1) the workpiece cleaning, shelves, into the furnace
Before entering the furnace, the workpiece should go through three processes of ultrasonic cleaning, acid washing and rinsing.
The first is to use the ultrasonic cleaning tank in the preparation of metal cleaning agent, the use of ultrasonic cleaning, cleaning. After cleaning, acid cleaning, it can neutralize residual alkali ultrasonic cleaning, but also play the role of activation. (2) preparation before coating
Cleaning vacuum coating chamber. Clean the vacuum coating chamber with vacuum cleaner. When the coating is repeated, the inner lining of the vacuum coating chamber must be cleaned regularly, which is usually used for half a month.
Examination of arc evaporation source. Before work, to ensure that the arc evaporation source is installed correctly, the insulation is good, the arc ignition pin control is flexible, the process is suitable, just can touch the cathode surface.
Check the insulation condition of the work piece. The insulation between the workpiece holder and the ground must be good, and the contact point of the negative bias power supply with the workpiece holder must be in good contact with the workpiece.
After the above work to ensure that no problem, you can close the vacuum coating chamber door, pumping gas and coating.
(3) vacuum pumping
Vacuum pumped to 6.6x10-3Pa. Beginning is a rough, pumping from the atmosphere to about 5Pa, oil diffusion pump for fine pumping. In the rough, you can bake heating to 150. With the increase of the temperature of the coating chamber, the vacuum will be reduced, and then the temperature will rise again, when the temperature rises to 6.6x10-3Pa, the coating can be coated.
(4) bombardment cleaning
Argon ion bombardment cleaning
Vacuum: ordinary high purity argon (99.999%) vacuum is maintained at 2 ~ 3Pa. Bombardment voltage: 800 ~ 1000V. Bombardment time: 10min.
Now in the vacuum coating chamber glow discharge occurs, the discharge of argon ions with high energy impinging on the surface of the workpiece and the workpiece surface adsorption of the gas, impurity and the workpiece surface layer sputtered atoms down, exposing the material of fresh surfaces.
Titanium bombardment
Vacuum: ordinary high purity argon vacuum is maintained in the 2x10-2Pa. Pulse bias: 400 ~ 500V, duty cycle 20%. The arc current of 60 ~ 80A, rotation ignition arc evaporation source, each arc evaporation source set 1 ~ 2min.
(5) coating
The Ti
Vacuum: ordinary high purity argon, vacuum is maintained in 2x10-2Pa. Pulse bias: 200 ~ 300V, duty cycle 50%. The arc current of 60 ~ 80A, all ignition arc source, time was 2 ~ 3min.
Plating TiCN
Vacuum: Walter high purity nitrogen so that the vacuum is maintained in (3 ~ 8) x10-1Pa, and then gradually increase the C2H2. With the increase of C2H2 gas volume, color, Golden Red Golden Rose Gold Black change by the. Control the ratio of N2 and C2H2 two kinds of gas can achieve the predetermined color.
Arc current: 50 ~ 70A. Pulse bias voltage: 100 ~ 150V, duty cycle 60% ~ 80%. Deposition temperature: 200. Between: 10 ~ 20min, film thickness of 0.2 to 0.5 mu m.
(6) cooling
After the coating process is finished, the arc power supply and the bias power supply are closed first, and then the air source and the stop frame are closed. When the workpiece is cooled to 100 to 80 degrees in the vacuum coating room, the workpiece is filled with the atmosphere, and the workpiece is taken out.
